On April 7th, 2006 TIA members lost our beloved
Captain Larry Barker to cancer. Captain Larry was with us
from the start at JSI and he will be sorely missed by all that knew him. He was
a big prop liner and vintage jet fan
and he probably logged more hours in our old JSI Stratocruiser than any
other bird we operated. The best way we felt
to honor him was to have a special aircraft painted in his memory. He was able
to enjoy his 707 for a short time before his passing.
We want to pass his aircraft on to our flight crews to keep his name flying
forever in the virtual skies.
Pilots may fly this aircraft on appropriate routes of their choice.
